Feast of Tabernacles 2009

The Western Region Church of God will be hosting a location to observe the Feast of Tabernacles this year in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The observance this year will be held October 3-10, 2009 (Registration & welcome service will begin the evening of October 2nd). REGISTRATION TABLE
The registration table will be open throughout the Feast. Festival brochures will be available, as well as sign up sheets for activities, anoiting, counseling, baptism and other helpful information. Thank you for registering as soon as possible, as it helps us in future planning and serving the needs of our brethern and friends. We are an "Open Door" Feast site; all of amicable spirit are welcome. There is no fee for any of our services. Offerings taken up on Holy Days are completely voluntary.
GET ACQUAINTED NIGHT - 10/2
Join us for fun & fellowship as we kick-off God's Feast of Tabernacles in the evening with singing of hymns, meet & greet and a short welcome message.
DAY ONE - Holy Day 10/3
Services 10:30am - 12:30pm. Offering by Phill Dunagan. Sermon by Phill Dunagan.
FLYING W RANCH - 10/3
Come enjoy a fanstastic show conducted at the Flying W Ranch. Enjoy great music as well as a tasty steak dinner. Plan to arrive at the Ranch at 7:15pm. See the registration desk for directions. Kansas City Steak is $26 per person; BBQ Chicken or Flame Grilled Trout is $24 per person (plus taxes). The Western Stage show begins at 9:00pm.
DAY TWO - Services 10/4
Services 10:30am - 12:30pm. Sermon by Troy Gedack.
TRIP TO CRIPPLE CREEK & VICTOR TRAIN RIDE - 10/4
Join us on a group trip to Cripple Creek, Colorado and ride along on the Victor Train. Enjoy beautiful scenery and an experience you will not forget. Group departure will be from the hotel parking lot at 1:30pm.
DAY THREE - Services 10/5
Services 10:30am - 12:30pm. Sermon by Steve Hicks.
FUN SHOW REHEARSALS - 10/5
Rehearsals for Fun Show acts (to be held October 8th) will be held at this time. Your talent is always welcome. Additional time for rehearsals will be following the Jam Session on October 6th.
BIBLE BOWL - 10/5
Join us in the Hospitality Room for the Bible Bowl & Ice Cream Social scheduled for 7:00pm.
DAY FOUR - Services 10/6
Services 10:30am - 12:30pm. Sermon by Paul Burkholder.
CHURCH RAFFLE - 10/6
Starting at 3:00pm in the Main Meeting Hall, the Annual church raffle will be conducted. Feel free to donate any items to the raffle. Funds help pay for the Festival.
PIZZA & SALAD - 10/6
Enjoy food & fellowship at our Pizza & Salad dinner (food provided) located in the Hospitality Room starting at 6:00pm (immediately following the Church Raffle).
JAM SESSION & ADDITIONAL FUN SHOW REHEARSALS - 10/6
Come join the fun in the Jam Session starting at 7:30pm in the Main Hall. Rehearsals for Fun Show acts (to be held October 19th) will be held at this time. Come preview the acts or throw in your own talent.
FREE DAY - 10/7
This day is free of scheduled events in order to allow your family to enjoy the surroundings of the city. No regular scheduled services will be held this day; however, an optional Bible Study will be conducted in the Main Hall starting at 9:00am for those wishing to attend. Casual dress is recommended for this study.
DAY SIX - Services 10/8
Services 10:30am - 12:30pm. Sermon by Ben Chapman (Update: Sermon by Steve Hicks).
BAPTISM - 10/8
Contact local Feast Elder Phill Dunagan if you wish to be baptised during the Feast. Baptisms will be scheduled this day starting at 1:30pm (exact location to be announced).
FUN SHOW - 10/8
View some of the internal talents of our church members and attendees. Our annual fun show will show-off various talents (perhaps even your own). You won't want to miss the fun & laughter that never fails to be enjoyed by all!
DAY SEVEN - Services 10/9

CHURCH PICNIC - 10/9
Join us at Palmer Park at the Lazy Land Pavilion in Colorado Springs at 2:00pm for the Annual Church Picnic (weather permitting). Hot dogs and hamburgers will be provided - bring your favorite side dishes, chips & drinks!
LAST GREAT DAY - Holy Day 10/10
Services 11:00am - 1:00pm. Offering by Phill Dunagan. Blessing of Little Children. Sermon by Phill Dunagan.
Services will be held at the Clarion Hotel, located at 314 West Bijou St. in Colorado Springs, Colorado. To contact the Clarion Hotel, please call 719-471-8680. Mention you are with the Western Region Church of God for "Feast 2009". Room rates are $69.00 plus tax (you must reserve rooms before September 10, 2009 to receive the special Church rates).
